You are probably familiar with the Facebook Live button within the Facebook App.

This is an easy  way to get started streaming to Facebook Live.  But what if you want to do more with your live video?

This is where Switcher Go and Switcher Studio come into play.

Let’s take a look at the differences between the two platforms.

Switcher Go:

Is a free app that allows you to add graphics, logos and pre recorded video into your live productions.

You are limited to 5 graphic or video elements at a time and there can only be one camera connected.

Switcher Studio:

Switcher Studio does not limit the number of sources you can add.  This allows you to add any number of overlays, graphics, lower thirds and pre recorded videos. Studio also has a dynamic live text editing in the app for creating lower-thirds on the fly.

With Switcher Studio, you can connect up to 9 devices running Switcher as additional cameras.  A Mac computer/ laptop screen can be cast as a source as well.

Both Switcher Studio and Switcher Go can record and/ or stream.  Switcher Go has limited streaming to Facebook or YouTube.  Switcher Studio has custom RTMP enabled, allowing you to send a stream anywhere that will accept RTMP values.

Both products are great to level up your live video.  Switcher Go is the perfect place to get your feet wet.  When you are ready to go all in, Switcher Studio will be an easy step up.
